Key Takeaways
Bitcoin's rally pauses as CryptoQuant reports profit-taking and cooling demand, though a bull market remains intact.

According to a report from Bitcoin Magazine citing data analytics firm CryptoQuant, Bitcoin's recent market rally is experiencing a pause due to profit-taking and cooling demand. Bitcoin's price recently stood at $82,939, marking a nearly 4% drop over seven days after reaching an eight-month high of $87,251. CryptoQuant stated that the leading cryptocurrency remains in a bull market after crossing its 365-day moving average, a technical signal marking past cycle starts.
However, short-term traders holding coins for one to three months face an average unrealized profit of about 33%, the highest since December 2024. Holders realized 25.7K BTC in profit last single day, the largest of 2026. While the report indicates the rally is losing steam, CryptoQuant identified three support levels for a potential healthy correction: the 365-day moving average at approximately $80,000, the 200-day moving average at about $71,000, and traders' on-chain realized price near $67,000. Additionally, Bitcoin previously notched a record of $126,080 in October of last year before declining, while the debasement trade has resurged following U.S. debt topping $40 trillion in July.
