According to Bitcoin Magazine, Jack Dorsey’s NYSE-listed company Block has launched an advertising campaign to encourage people to use bitcoin as a medium of exchange and "everyday money." The push arrives amid a U.S. affordability crisis where high prices remain a prominent topic among voters prior to the midterm elections.

Block's Bitcoin Lead Miles Suter stated that the company builds financial products to ease everyday life and called the campaign a major illustration of a Bitcoin-centric financial system. An accompanying advertisement features everyday Americans discussing the cost of living and government bailouts for Wall Street bankers, utilizing the slogan, "Some things don’t make sense. Bitcoin does."

As reported by Bitcoin Magazine, the campaign began rolling out on Thursday and will run across YouTube, X, Meta, Instagram, and on television via Fox Sports through December 31. Ads are also scheduled to run in select theaters during screenings of Avengers: Doomsday and Dune 3.

Block's ecosystem includes Cash App for buying, selling, and sending Bitcoin, Square accepting bitcoin via the Lightning Network, and a Bitcoin mining rig with swappable parts introduced last year.
