Blockchain fintech firm Fission has secured a $10 million Series A funding round led by Pantera Capital to build liquidity infrastructure for tokenized funds.

According to BlockchainReporter, Fission has closed a $10 million Series A funding round led by Pantera Capital. The company builds liquidity infrastructure for tokenized investment funds, aiming to address market structure limitations such as periodic redemption windows and restrictive financing structures.
The investment round also included participation from Circle Ventures, New Form, gumi Cryptos Capital, Borderless Capital, and Ari Rubenstein, CEO of GTS. They join existing investors Anthony Scaramucci, Manhattan Venture Partners, Reflexive Capital, and Lattice Capital.
Fission's platform provides eligible holders access to capital without requiring them to wait for traditional fund redemption cycles. The company supports tokenized funds across private credit and alternative institutional products, having already processed millions of dollars in transactions.
Pantera Capital general partner Franklin Bi noted that investment funds are moving onto digital rails, requiring liquidity for that transition. Fission founder and CEO Jonathan Shaffer stated that the new capital will expand asset coverage, liquidity capacity, and institutional integrations as tokenized real-world assets grow within institutional finance. Fission did not disclose a valuation or a specific rollout timeline.
