AmericanFortress Unveils Zero-Knowledge Proof for Cross-Chain Wallet Verification

According to BlockchainReporter, Wyoming-based team AmericanFortress published research introducing a zero-knowledge proof system designed for cross-chain wallet verification and post-quantum wallet cryptography. The system, extending Zero-Knowledge Proofs of Seed Provenance (ZKPoSP), allows cross-chain bridges or swap services to verify whether a payout wallet on one chain and a depositor wallet on another are controlled by a shared hidden secret, without exposing full wallet histories or derivation paths.

As reported by BlockchainReporter, the mechanism addresses address-substitution risks against real deposits by utilizing cross-scheme provenance, which connects addresses built on different cryptographic curves such as Bitcoin's secp256k1 and Solana's Ed25519. The company also detailed SafeSend, an upcoming product utilizing stealth addresses and viewing keys to allow senders to prove payment provenance to recipients or auditors without wallet-wide exposure. AmericanFortress noted that the construction holds up against quantum computers and is the subject of a pending patent application, though the cross-chain checks and Swapper X examples remain worked design models rather than implemented integrations.
